Site-Based Claims Export Module for MyFUNDamentals - Florida Users  

Visual Solutions is proud to announce the release of the Site-Based Claims Export Module for MyFUNDamentals. This add-on module extends the functionality of the MyFUNDamentals software suite by generating a special text file that can be read by Florida's Colyar claims system. This file contains information that has either been imported or keyed into the MyFUNDamentals software. This module was developed for MyFUNDamentals users based on the request by Florida Department of Education, Food and Nutrition Services for districts to provide site-based claims. This module is available to all Florida districts for download and trial use. The software will allow for the generation of no more than two export files before registration is required. Registration requires a current support contract with Visual Solutions.

Main Screen - Florida CNP Claiming Export

This screen allows the user to select the claiming month and export folder and to create an export file. This screen also provides access to the Setup screen, and the Module Information screen. First time users will need to click the Setup button and verify the information on that screen before exporting the first claim information.

Using this screen

• Select the Claiming Month.
• If the Export Folder is blank, click the Browse Button and select a folder on your computer or network.
• Click the Export Button. The export only takes a few seconds for a middle-sized school district.
• Click the Cancel/Close Button to close the screen.

CNP Export Setup

The CNP Export Setup screen allows users to modify the CNP Site ID and the Area Eligibility flag for each claiming site (school) in the MyFUNDamentals software. More often than not, the CNP Site ID will be set correctly as the location code used by your point of service software. In some cases, the CNP Site ID (the site number in the Colyar system) will be different than your local point of service software uses. The Area Eligible setting is defaulted to the Universal Free option for the After School Snack program setting as defined in the School Information screen. The CNP District Agreement Number is the district's agreement number as recognized by the Colyar claims system.

Using this screen

• Review and edit, if needed, the CNP Site ID (Colyar system ID) for each site (school) in the MyFUNDamentals software. Clear the checkmark in the Include in Export for any school in MyFUNDamentals that you do not enter a claim for, such as charter schools that may file their own claim.
• Review and edit, if needed, the Area Eligible flag for each site. The Toggle Area Eligible link may be used to automate the selection or deselection of the Area Eligible flag for all sites.
• Review and edit, if needed, the CNP District Agreement Number for the district.
• Click the Print Button to create an instant report of the information in the grid.
• Click the Update Button to save any changes.
• Click the Cancel/Close Button to close the screen.
