The Picture Directory sets the local folder where the participant pictures are located. These pictures are generally provided by the school's year book vendor and can easily be imported for use at Point of Service.

The Quick Meal Mode option is used to set a default to automatically serve a meal to students at Point of Service without the extra keystroke of having to press the meal button. This is used for Point of Service by ID function only.

The Default Payment Type option is used to set a default payment type, either Account or Cash. Note: The software may default to Cash when there is an insufficient Account Balance to cover the Amount Due, or when Charging is not allowed for a participant.

The Starting Cash allows users to set the starting cash for all lines. If multiple lines are used, this is the sum of their starting cash.

The Tax Percentage is the tax amount deducted from each dollar, and varies from state to state. This generally applies to non-reimbursable meals and Other Food Sales. If no tax is collected, then $0.00 would be appropriate here.

Alert Messages at Point of Service may be turned on/off by placing a check mark in the checkbox.

The Point of Service software will play the Happy Birthday song if you have speakers attached. This feature can be turned on/off by placing a check mark in the checkbox.

This screen also displays the database locations used by the Point of Service software. This is used for diagnostics and troubleshooting only.
