Fully integrated with NFSMI FUNDamentals and School Food Service Director software modules, the Procurement and Inventory Solution automatically creates financial and inventory records for each school that may be consumed by the FUNDamentals Financial Management software. Kitchen managers may place orders and enter physical inventory counts through an optional web based system.

Overview: The Purchasing Solution provides an easy solution to quickly place site based and warehouse orders, consolidate them and electronically send them to distributors.

Warehouse Management

Overview: The Warehouse Management module provides graphical, user-friendly software for state-of-the-art warehouse management. It includes inventory management, order processing, consolidation and allocation of orders, issuing pick tickets, printing delivery tickets, and shipping reports.

Manually Create Warehouse Orders (Grocery List)
Quick Warehouse Orders (Item number and quantity only, great for add-ons)
Shipment Verification provides automatic creation of Vendor Orders (more like a suggestion) for items ordered against warehouse stock that will create a defiency, or cause the remainder to be less than an established minimum on-hand amount.
Issue Shipments by giving a shipment number to each warehouse order.

Bid Evaluation

Overview: The Bid Evaluation software offers an easy, efficient method of soliciting, evaluating, and awarding bids. The Bid Evaluation software works in conjunction with all School Food Service software modules to build the base product file. Submitted bids can be compared on screen or by printed report. Distributors and manufacturers can submit bids by utilizing the School Food Service web application or via a bid submission report.

Establish Bid Sessions and Groups

Award items based on Pack Configuration or Yield Configuration (based on a common denomator such as pounds, ounces, pieces, etc)

Multiple Brands may be maintained for a specification

Awarding Bid Items through this module make awarded items immediately available for all other modules.
