Build/Rebuild Inventory Base File

The Build/Rebuild Inventory Base File screen provides a means to build or rebuild inventory base files. This typically will only need to be performed when new sites are added, or when specifications or approved product items have been imported into the software. An alternative to building the inventory base file from scratch for a new site, is to use the Copy Inventory Base File screen. The Copy screen may be accessed directly from the Build/Rebuild screen.

Select a cost center in the drop down list, then click the Create or Repair Inventory Base File button.
