Storage Types
Storage Types define storage locations used in the software. Storage Types have been used in different ways by different districts and may be setup to suit the needs and characteristics of any district. Items redistributed from the default warehouse will be grouped (in the pick ticket report) by storage location or type. Warehouse operations having multiple freezers, walk-ins, or bins may define each location as a new storage type, and assign products to these locations making it easier for warehouse pickers to fill orders to the schools. There is no limit to the number of storage types that may be defined. The Display Order column determines the order of storage types in pick tickets, other reports, and various drop boxes used in the software.
